Selections
Winners
Plants are tested by Judges at many sites
across America. Flowers are judged on several characteristics, such as
novel flower form, color, flower show above the foliage, fragrance, length of
flower season, and pest and disease tolerance or resistance.
Vegetables
are judged on characteristics such as days to harvest, yield, fruit taste and
quality, ease of harvest, plant habit, and disease and pest resistance.
Only superior plants receive the status of being an All-America Selections (AAS)
Award winner.
